He describes the jacket as big and evil-looking and wishes it belonged to his siblings instead of him. He localises his cool leather ambition jacket to his mother only if he neer gets it Sotto becomes aggravated with his mothers cheap ways because he knows it willing be a long season in advance he can get a sweet jacket. He outgrows the jacket and has no choice but to wear the worn and torn green jacket because his mother will not buy a new one. I believe Sotto just wanted to condition in and impress his peers at the same time he did not want to seem unappreciated to his mother.
